Noah Wyle, 46, was born Noah Strausser Speer Wyle on June 4, 1971. Noah was born in Hollywood, California, and now calls Los Angeles home. He has been working in Hollywood as a theatre actor as well as an American film and television actor since the 1990s.
He is well recognized for his depiction of Dr. John Carter on ER, which is widely regarded as one of his best roles. Noah’s mother was Marjorie, and she worked as a licensed orthopedic head nurse.
Stephen Wyle, his father, was an electrical engineer who also happened to be an entrepreneur. Noah had Jewish ancestors, and his mother had Episcopalian ancestors. Noah’s parents divorced for the first time in 1970.
Noah had his early schooling at the Thacher School in Ojai, California, and went on to acquire his master’s degree in 1989. He began promoting the Theatre Arts Program early on, and he was also a student at Northwestern University at the time.
